As most of you know, we are woefully behind in posting the screen caps for the final Season 5 episodes of The Closer. We will be posting the caps for Identity Theft today. And we have actually taken the caps for all the other episodes. However, due to the various equipment problems we had last summer/fall, the quality of the caps is not up to our standards. The replacement recording equipment has not done the job we had hoped. We’re not sure if it’s the computer equipment or the cable service (we’ve experienced numerous problems with cable since the conversion to all digital in our area).
Therefore, we have decided that we will not post any more screen caps for Season 5 until the boxed set is released in late June. We humbly apologize for this delay. However, we believe it’s better to post quality caps, even if they are delayed, then to post inferior caps.
We’re not sure what we will do about Season 6. It is possible that we will NOT record any of Season 6 episodes, but instead will wait until that boxed set is released. We will, however, keep you posted.
Again, we apologize for the delay and any inconvenience it may cause any of you. As always, we thank you for your patience.

Be sure to mark your calndars for this Sunday night to see Kyra Sedgwick, along with her husband Kevin Bacon, present an Emmy award. Additionally, Kyra is nominated for an Emmy award as Lead Actress in a Drama series. Kevin Bacon is nominated for a Primetime Emmy® Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie for HBO’s Taking Chance.
The award show will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 20 (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on CBS.

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 15 (UPI) — Celebrity couple Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick are to present an award together at the upcoming Emmys show in Los Angeles, CBS said Tuesday.
Bacon and Sedgwick have been married for 21 years.
“NCIS: Los Angeles” co-stars Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J are to team up to hand out a prize, as well, the network said.
Also slated to serve as presenters at Sunday’s awards presentation are Alec Baldwin, Kaley Cuoco, Cat Deeley, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Johnny Galecki, Ricky Gervais, Jim Parsons, Amy Poehler, Anna Torv, Sigourney Weaver and Kate Walsh.
The Emmys ceremony is to be broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles on CBS.

We may have found a solutin to our hardware problems, which should allow us to contnue with the screen caps. We will be trying to catch up with the episodes. However, in order to provide the best quality we have availale, we do no want to rush the process. Since there are only 2 episodes left (tonight and next week), we will make the caps as we can. It is possible that we will not finish until after the season is over.

We have, yet again, experienced major equipment malfunctions. We have decided that we will suspend posting screen caps for the remainder of the season. To the extent possible, we will continue to record the episodes and will work on screen caps as equipment permits.
We have already replaced one computer but find we may need to replace another. If this is the case, the financial burden may be too great to continue the site. We are, of course, hopeful this extreme measure will not be necessary and will obviously try to give advance notice should this become necessary.
